9- Friendship Seville ..

Plaza de Espana - Seville

The morning reach Seville with a smile over its sunny light and smooth perfection of starting a day with my 2 lovely friends Jan and Beth.
Our tour began with a view and a walk in the wonderful Plaza de Espana, it is a landmark in the Parque de Maria Luisa. It was designed by Anibal Gonzalez, it is a huge half-circle with buildings running around the edge accessible over the moat by numerous bridges representing the 4 Kingdoms of Spain. We had about 20 minutes to take some lovely photos of the Plaza.
Then we moved to visit Santa Cruz "Holy Cross District", which is a primary tourist neighborhood of Seville. It is bordered by the Jardines de Munillo, the Real Alcazar, Calle Mateos Gago and Calle Santa Maria la Blanca. It is also the home to the Cathedral of Seville, including the converted minaret of the old Moorish Mosque Giralda.
Reaching the Mosque Giralda, which is the Bell Tower of Seville Cathedral. Originally it was built as a minaret during the Moorish period of Almohad Dynasty Reign, with a Renaissance style added by Spanish conquistadors after expulsion of the Muslims from the area. The Tower remains one of the most important symbols of the city.
